Our two story is built by Excel Homes and has about 2400 square feet of living space. Each floor is 40’ x 29’6” plus the 9/12 roof pitch allows for attic storage. The foyer has an open staircase to the second floor. The second floor has a balcony which looks down on the foyer.

The Pro Built Cape Chalet is 27’6” x 44’ and is 1210 square feet. The vaulted ceiling is covered with tongue and groove pine, for that rustic interior. The upstairs loft, which is approximately 14’ x 8’, comes unfinished, but can easily be transformed into a bedroom and bathroom. The trapezoid windows and sliding glass doors let in plenty of light and give you a great view.

The Bethany is a ranch style home built by Pleasant Valley Modulars. Pleasant Valley is noted for their beautiful kitchens and bathrooms. They are also one of the heaviest houses in the industry, typically weighing two tons more that any other modular.

The doublewide we have on display by Skyline is only 28’x52’, but it feels much bigger. The cathedral ceiling adds to the spacious feeling. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bath rooms, along with a utility are for your washer and dryer. The Kitchen has a work island, and room for a dining table.

A singlewide home can be built up to 16’ wide and up to 80’ in length (which includes a 4’ hitch). A doublewide home comes in two pieces, so it can be up to 32’ wide and 76’ in length. The frame under a double wide stays with the home, but a modular home is lifted off the frame and placed on your foundation with a crane. Unlike a modular, a doublewide does not need a basement or a crawl space; it can be installed on a gravel or cement pad.
